Hey, Chons, I'm back!  :-)  HELLO!  As usual, I wasn't ME the past days...you know how it is.  ;-)  But, THANK GOD, in HIS GRACE, working HIS magic AGAIN, I'm back to normal.  :-)))

I'm glad I was alright when Paula came over.  Very happy to see you again, Paulie!  :)  Thanks a lot for the visit!  You look as pretty & gorgeous as ever!  ;-)  Thanks to your Mom again also for the prayer she gave.  Really great to see you!  Love you, Pauls!

Chons, this is to formally acknowledge US$900.00 + PhP3,000.00 (from Paula) and PhP10,000.00 (from Sarita). 

MY HEARTFELT THANKS TO ALL OUR DEAR FRIENDS IN THE US & MANILA!  :))))) It's also only now that I'm starting to read the letters Paula brought over from the US...again, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!..... Chons...for your sweet card & breast ca pin (I'm already running out of words to say thank you to you :)) 

Also talked to Sienna Q., said she'll pick up your card at my house asap.

Shirsy...I know how busy you are, but appreciate your sending me another caring note.  I still talk to your Mom once in a while.  I miss you & with all my love, too.

Karla...so wonderful to hear from you!  :-)  Your beautiful card says it all, I was teary-eyed.  Cutie-pie Joshua did bring a smile on my face.  :)  I hope to savor your fine cooking soon, 'k.

My 3rd cycle is on Dec. 5.  As usual, I still hope & pray for an easier one.  When I talked to Sienna, she said it will get better as my body gets used to it...OH, HOW I WISH!  So it's a wait-&-see again. 

By the way, I'm already bald :) & enjoy the no-stress fixing of the hair now.  Not to mention the cool breeze on my scalp.  Will try to e-mail a picture.  :)

Dearest Chons,

It's me again!  :)  Hi!  It's been a while, sorry.  Have been pre-occupied lately, so it's only now that I got to e-mail again.  Hope you're having a fine weekend.

I'm starting chemo tomorrow (Monday) morning, Chons.  My pre-tests seemed ok, so we have finally set it already.  I'll be having the treatments at Asian Hospital in Alabang, once every 3 weeks. 

I continue to request for your prayers for strength of body & spirit as I go through this next phase.  I've read & heard the worst about chemo, but I still want to be optimistic about it.  :-)  I hope & pray I would be one of the lucky ones who won't feel too much of the 'not-too-good' effects.  :)))

Well, wish me luck!  ;-)  And for the nth time, THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO YOU & ALL THE REST!  Lotsa hugs & kisses!  God bless & will keep in touch.

Hi!!! 

Hope you're having a nice weekend. This is to acknowledge receipt of US$2,000.00 & PhP10,000.00 yesterday morning (Oct. 15) from Sarita.  MY HEARTFELT THANKS TO EVERYONE!  :-)

A little update...had a blood test & liver ultrasound last Friday.  Seems like my WBC count is low, but the liver results looked okay.  I'm scheduled for a bone scan tomorrow, Monday.  Our target date for chemo may be delayed, as I'll have to show results to onco first to check when the sessions may start.  Was down w/ cough & colds for almost a week, but I'm now feeling better.

HELLO!!!!!  :-)  Hope this finds you well.

I'm now in Angie's office & took advantage of her computer to write you.  I just came from an oncologist earlier this afternoon for another consultation.  This is the 3rd I've discussed options with & I feel that I will go with this one.  Of course, I will again get the advise of my surgeon as I make the final choice.  It's really tough to decide, as each doctor's approach is different, not to mention the other (obvious) factors to be considered.  I continue to pray that we will be led to the right one.

Chons, I have seen our website & couldn't help but cry.  What you have done & continue to do for me simply overwhelm me & my whole family!  There are no words to express our gratitude to you & the rest of our batch mates (Marice's & Angie's included) for the love & support you've all given.  I can't thank each one ye t...I hope this e-mail to you will suffice for the meantime.  :)

I'll be going through some more tests before the actual chemo sessions start.  Blood, ultrasound of the liver, bone sc an...I hope it ends there.  :-)  These were the common requirements of the 3 oncologist's I've talked with, so I guess I have to subject to all.  I understand these will help them see if the cancer has really spread or not.  The initial histopathology results are not enough to determine this.

I'm generally okay.  You've known me long enough to know I'm taking everything calmly.  But, still, the human factor creeps in & I still have my sad, lonely & crying moments.  Fortunately, I've started to be more positive about my illness.  I'm thinking I've gone through the worst, surgery & all, & that future treatments will just definitely HELP me get better.  :-)

On a happier note, I still have a big appetite!...yippee!  ;-)  I go through my usual routines at home as if I'm not sick at all.  My left side is still sore, but it's good I'm right-handed.  I'm still on leave from work & don't know how long it'll take.  One day at a time is how I'm going ...continually hoping & praying for the best.  :)))))

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR EVERYTHING, my dear!  I'll be indebted to you for the rest of my life.  :)  If you may, please again extend my sincere thanks to everyone on the list first, until I can thank each one myself.
