I have lived in Sydney Australia(and survived it!)
for nearly a dozen years now. Too long to live overseas, as far as I'm concerned,
despite visits to Manila, to quell my homesickness. But too short, to ever
consider myself "fair dinkum aussie". Still and always will uphold
Filipino and Paulinian values! I work for one of the major Australian Banks
as Financial Adviser & Personal Banker, after a stint with the Australian
Government as Project Manager. My favourite and most cherished roles though
are ---proud mum to our 13(going on 30) year old son, Angelo, and wife to
my hubby Ricky. How do I maintain the balance in my life and keep my sanity
whilst living overseas? (Well, sometimes I do,and sometimes I don't. I just
try very hard! I live and love life, and embrace it! ) I delight in cooking
for and entertaining friends, and our family serves and ministers at our
church parish. I am forever grateful to my Paulinian roots, the Christian
and Spiritual values instilled in me by the wonderful nuns and lay-teachers,
and the priceless memories and friendships of SPCM HS-1980. God Bless your
beautiful hearts precious ladies!!!
